On Thursday, June 20, 2019, Natalia (Natalie) S. Olvera entered eternal rest with our Lord and Savior. Natalie was born on December 30, 1937 in Floresville, Texas, she was 81 years old. Natalie was married to her beloved husband Miguel (Juan) Olvera for 44 years. Natalie is preceded by her mother Juanita Mendoza and her father, Juan Antonio Mendoza. She is survived by her 5 children, (3 daughters and 2 sons), 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Natalie enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She was a caring, supportive mother who was always there for her children. In her early days of motherhood, Natalie volunteered as a homeroom parent, and later worked as a School crossing guard, "mama patrol" while her children attended elementary school. Later, Natalie found herself working in the dietary department at Santa Rosa Hospital for 10 years.
One of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo at church halls or in Las Vegas. It gave her great pleasure to host holiday dinners at her home. Some of her travels included Las Vegas, NV, Orlando, FL, Washington DC, New Jersey and Mexico.
