Ronald Craig Branham, age 79, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 16th, 2019. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. Born in San Antonio on January 14th, 1940, Ronnie had a zest for life and an entrepreneurial spirit providing him with a successful career in hospitality and entertainment businesses. He opened up the first discotheque in San Antonio, the Tiffany Palace in the 1970s. He went on to open numerous others, including Last National Bank, Sugar Daddy's, Good Time Charlie's, and the Crystal Baking Company. At one point he owned 13 bars and restaurants and was known as "The Disco King." He was inspired by visiting discos in Acapulco where his father and mother, Ewing and Doris Branham, had a second home. He also brought the excitement after experiencing Studio 54 in NYC and traveling throughout Europe where he acquired antiques and stained glass for his many establishments. He also loved cars with a passion which included a cotton candy pink Auburn Boattail Speedster, an Excalibur, Rolls Royce, Jaguars, and everything else from Mercedes to a candy apple red classic truck. Ronnie loved the best restaurants, unusual foods and was an excellent cook. He loved boats and living on the water and enjoyed hunting and deep sea fishing. Ronnie was an interesting man with many a good story of adventures in his life. His family was very important to him and he adored his loving wife, Carol Ann, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family gatherings were always fun-filled and shared with lots of love. Ronnie is predeceased by his parents, Ewing and Doris Branham, his brother Michael Branham, his daughter Royce Cheri Branham Lemoine, and his first wife, Dura Branham Reeves. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol Ann Branham, and his children Rhonda Branham, Michael Flaherty (New Braunfels), Robin Branham, Ronald Beau Branham and wife Wendy, Amber Branham and husband Jason Jarisch (Austin). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Garrett Griesenbeck, Ashley Griesenbeck, Ryan Ewing Scheffler, Olivia Vickers, Rilee Mungia, Dylan Mungia, Stephen Rutherford, and Vera Ann Jarisch. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren. Ronnie also leaves behind many friends who will also miss him dearly.

Services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
