Charles Gorlin Dansevich, 77, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2009, in San Antonio. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on May 20, 1932, to Charles and Ruth Dansevich.

Charles served in the Air Force with the Office of Special Investigations for 25½ years. When he retired he bought "The I Don't Know Yet" café and lounge, which he owned and operated for 18 years.

After selling the business, he played as much golf as possible, and was an avid fan of all sports. He was a member of the Redland Heights Homeowners' Association, and was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Ann Dansevich and Mary Ellen Gass. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lorraine Dansevich; 2 sons, Charles G. Dansevich, Jr. and wife Julie, and Stephen M. Dansevich; 7 grandchildren; a son-in-law, Gary W. Gass; and 2 sisters, Beverly Emery and husband Robert, and Roann Skalyo and husband Russell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 8415 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229, or to SAMMinistries, 5254 Blanco Road, San Antonio, TX 78216.
