Condolence & Memory Journal

I worked with Jennifer back in 2000-2002 and we became fast friends. Jennifer was a kind, beautiful soul; generous with her time and love and I loved her dearly.
My thoughts are with entire family - my heartfelt and deepest sympathies are with you. Love and peace to you.

Jennifer and I were only casual acquaintances at work. However, we always waved or said hello to one another. I will always remember her infectious smile.

Jennifer was such a joy to work with. She always had a smile on her face and was exceptionally happy. Never saw her frown or say an unkind word about anyone. She absolutely loved her girls and just beamed with such pride. My deepest sympathies for the family.

My encounter with Jennifer was uncommon, in that I was the firefighter that delivered Amber, in their living room, in 2008. Hearing her name in this tragic story had me fearing the worst and I am truly sorry for the loss of these girls' mother. She was very gracious to us, stopping by the fire station and giving us gift cards for dinner; all for just doing our job. It was coincidence that she worked in the same building as my wife and the three of us would occasionally run into each other. I can't imagine the level of grief, but Laura, Lilly and Amber, stay strong and lean into the embrace of your family.

My heart goes out to the girls. Amber was in my daycare class many years ago and she and her sisters would come play just about every day. Jennifer was so kind, fun and a joy to be around. You could feel how much she loved her children and how proud she was to be their mama. So sorry for your loss <3>

"Jennifer was a co-worker with whom I count myself blessed to have worked. She had an amazing personality and had a way of making your day brighter no matter how tough. Her curiosity and interest in others was so delightful. The office will not be the same without her.

We will so miss our 'o dark thirty' walks with Jennifer, Mindy, and Vegas before work. Jennifer's sweet voice and gentleness were always manifested in the joy exuded in her precious smile. We miss you so much! Paula, Jackson, and Brooksley

I didn't know Jennifer personally, but we have friends in common. I am so horrified by her death, and how it's affecting everyone who loved her. May the memory of this kind, gentle, genuinely good woman be a blessing to all she left behind. May you all continue to be touched by her love.

I was lucky to cross paths and get to know Jennifer during several family community events. She was a great mother, warm, friendly, beautiful and an amazing human. On one occasion, she hosted an event that I was supposed to host, but at the last minute I could not and she graciously stepped up and offered her home. She made everyone feel welcome. Her presence on earth will be missed. May she rest in peace.
