Condolence & Memory Journal

Rest in peace Bill. I enjoyed working with Bill when he was a sergeant on north patrol when I was on patrol for NEISD Police. He was pure class and one terrific supervisor. Always looked forward to visiting with him during the long nights. We made many a call together as well.

Until we meet again. RIP Bill.

my prayers and condolences go out to Bills' family during this time. May our Lord and Savior give you peace and comfort. I worked with him as a patrolman on the old 11 section of patrol. He was a patrolmans' supervisor, good humored easy to work with. Rest in peace.

Rest in peace, Bill Lewis, you fought the good fight and what you did at the SAPD mattered. Thanks to your family for sharing you with us!

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bill, as long as most others. Bill and eleven others were in the cadet class, together, and several of our class have already been called to the lord, Hank Shell, Lawrence Haliburton, Jerry Rayburn, are a few that I know of, and our close friend Tom Shaw, is fighting strongly, for his family and friends, to enjoy him more. Bill was a good officer, friend and man. I am only sorry, I could not make arrangements to visit him while he was still with us. I am sad that we will not see him anymore, but he will always be on my mind and heart, as a good friend.

Grew up with Bill. He was my first cousin. Remember shooting BB & pellet guns and playing cowboys & indians. Yes... I was a tomboy.

My sister & I were just talking how we only have 4 first cousins and what a shame it is how we tend to lose contact with one another over the years.

We all share the same good memories from our childhood. Birthdays and Christmas' with the same grandparents.

Thanks for the memories,
Love Ya

Forever remember that you were a good friend a great supervisor on the police department. May the Lord take you in his loving arms and welcome you into his Kingdom. You always made me laugh and smile at how meticulous you were in all the projects you took on.
