Susan M. Flores, age 50, went to the Lord on March 1st, 2018, in San Antonio, TX surrounded by her family. Susan was born in San Antonio, TX to Gilbert R. and Gloria A. Castano on November 7th, 1967. Susan worked for the Baptist Medical System as a surgical technician in specialty in eye surgery. She loved to travel the world such as England, Paris, London, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hawaii, Cozumel, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Belize, Las Vegas, Mexico and annual family trips to South Padre Island. She loved to "bluff you" while playing Texas Hold'em. She was preceded in death by, her parents. Susan is survived by her husband of 30 years, Carlos G. Flores; daughters, Laura E. Ayala (Edward C. Ayala III), Robyn A. Flores (Mike Garcia) and Miranda M. Flores (Alan Gonzalez); grandchildren, Edward C. Ayala IV, Alex Ryan Garcia and future grandson, Ezra Gilbert Ayala and her siblings Debbie Chin (Jonathan Chin), Cindy Anthony (Mike Anthony) and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family encourages for everyone to bring their favorite photo of yourself with Susan the night of the visitation to add to their memory table display.

Words can't express what your feeling as the death of a soul mate is devastating. I still grieve over my cousin, your classmate, Frank Flores. And knowing the deep love you have for your wife, my suggestion is that you record the grief, family memories, and cries to your Abba/Father in a journal. Again my sincere condolences to your entire family.
