Tribute & Message From The Family

Ernestine Delgado was born in Houston, TX to Ester and Juan Perez on October 5, 1931. She was widely known for her smile, laughter, and loved to sing. She sang in her church choir until she was not able to anymore. Ernestine was a founding member of Madison Hills Baptist Church. Along with her husband, she served her God in several states and foreign countries as a Sunday School Teacher and other capacities. Family and friends will remember the positive impact that she had on their lives and she was well loved by everyone she knew. She is preceded in death by her parents. Ernestine is survived by her husband of 67 years, Luiz Delgado; sons, Louis E. Delgado, Benjamin Delgado; daughter, Abigail Gambrell (Lonnie); grandchildren, Jeffrey, Teresa (Greg), Abigail (Brandon), and Evan; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Lucas, Madelyn, and Zachary; and numerous extended family. The family will receive their guests on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 1:00- 3:30 PM at Madison Hills Baptist Church.

Rev. Robert Bennett will officiate. Interment will take place at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 11:15 AM.
