Condolence & Memory Journal

John was a fighter in all the walks of life that he experienced. A man of great knowledge and accomplishments. It was my privilege to have him touch my life. I'm so grateful that he came into my sister-in-law's life and was a blessing to her and her family. He certainly made a difference in all the lives he touched. Rest in Peace John.

What is a stepfather? A strong role model with unending patience and understanding, a provider, protector and friend, and a Bonus Dad. John was all of these to me. Plus, he loved my Mom to the moon and back and would do anything and everything for her. And, my grandson Logan, was the light of his eye. Thank you for being the "Dad" to me and the "Papaw" to my daughter and grandson that you didn't have to be for the last 20 years. Rest in Peace John.

John was a fellow Ham operator that I admired. He was the type of person I try to emulate. I will miss the conversations on the air with him.
