To the beloved family of Merle. I am, just now, learning of Merle's passing. We met at FBCSA and became fast friends. I moved away 9 years ago and we were not in touch, I'm sorry to say. But, I still have fond memories of Merle. The Lord's peace and strength.

Dearest Brad and Blake: I loved your Mother. She was wise both in spiritual matters and in dealing with our students; she was a loyal friend; she was fun to be with; and she had a wonderful sense of humor. I have wonderful memories of our days together at Castle Hills First Baptist School. May God hold you both and your father, in His arms as the presence of His Holy Spirit comforts you during this time. Gay Voigt, San Antonio, TX.

I am sorry to hear about Merle's passing, but I know she is rejoicing with her Savior in her heavenly home right now. I am sorry that I cannot be at her celebration service but I am in Washington DC taking care of my grandchildren. I remember fondly her days at CHFBS and her service to our students.

Keeping your family close to my heart and in my prayers. Merle will always be remembered for her generosity and loving heart. She was such a very good and dear friend to my parents and was always present when either of them were sick or hospitalized. Merle was such a wonderful cook and brought many meals to our family during those illnesses. May she rest eternally and at peace with our Heavenly Father until we are all reunited in His Kingdom.
