Tribute & Message From The Family

Tim R. Hoggatt, beloved husband, father, grandfather & friend passed away June 7, 2019 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 77. He is survived by his children, Terry Allen and husband Paul. Steven Hoggatt and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Katheryn Chalfin and husband David, Patricia Allen and Jeffery Allen. Tim is also survived by his family at Shavano Senior Living.

Tim was an entrepreneur, owning and operating Tim's Refrigeration for 20 years. Even in retirement he was active in building and maintaining his ranchette. Once he became unable, he moved to Shavano Senior Living where he made new friends and forged new relationships with those who loved and encouraged him through the final stages of dementia.

He will be remembered for his love and quick wit….and as Tim would say "I'll see ya when I see ya."

Condolence & Memory Journal

https://youtu.be/MryUq1p5AY0 A cliff notes version of our father's life. There were many memories that did not make it in. He was there for the moments and his expression of love was through acts of service, and he worked his butt off (which is why he never had one I suppose). Alzheimer's and dementia took him away from us. We thank all who visited him at Shavano senior living, and everyone else who gave his life joy and meaning.

Tim always had a smile on his face when we saw him at the bakery in Bulverde and at the restaurant in Spring Branch. Oh how he missed his sweetheart Carolyn and his precious daughter, Tina. He was always happy to see us when we visited him at Shavano. "Gosh, all Friday" is what he would say, and "How did you find me?" We are sorry for the loss of your daddy; but we know he is fishing in heaven and is happy once again. He was a good and kind friend. He shared many stories with us over the years. We are sending you love.
