Dear Tom and the rest of the
Woodley family-- I was so sad to see the obit in the Uvalde paper. We (Horsefly and I) have thought of him so many times during these last 35 years since we left Sabinal and came back to Junction. He was someone you didn't forget--such a kind and generous boss and all around good guy.
Tom, Horsefly passed away in March of 2018 after a five year bout with cancer. He was almost 85 and we miss him so much. My thoughts and prayers will be with you at this difficult time of your lives. Sincerely, Elsie Murr, Junction, Tx.

Mr. Woodley was truly one of the nicest men I ever had the pleasure to meet when I went to work at San Antonio CC. Always had a kind word to say and always looking for a tip about golf. He will truly be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones.

My husband and I were saddened to hear of Mr. Woodley's passing. My husband remembers the last time they saw each other. Mr. Wodley greeted him with a big ole hug. He was a very humble man and always had a kind word for everyone. Even when he felt tired or weak he never complained he took it all in stride. It was a privilege and a pleasure to tend to him. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Susanne, Riley, Colby, and Brady and all of the Woodley family-I'm so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I had no idea that he had fought in two of the most fearsome battles of WWII, and that he flew his own plane to work! I was glad to have met him, and to know what a great father and grandfather he was. He definitely fit into the "Greatest Generation" and we will miss him. I'm so glad that he was able to live so long, and live such a rich life.
