Louis was my husband for 27 years. Although we have been divorced for 19 years, we kept an open communication with each other. We have two wonderful children together, Chris and Stephanie. Louie (as I called him) was a wonderful provider for our family. I am beyond shock of his passing and my heart has been shattered. Louie, I along with your children will miss you tremendously. Enjoy heaven, smile with the angels and save a place for us until we meet again. Rest in eternal peace Louie.

I remember Louis fondly from our days at St. Lukes. His coaching of Carla over the years, along all the other girls on the team instilled a lifetime appreciation of what it means to work hard, and more importantly, what it means to work as a team. He was humble, fun, and kind, and we loved him. Those times I will never forget... When I told Carla of the sad news, she sent me a broken heart emoji, along with a clip of the song the girls used to sing to Louis...."who put the L in laughing Louie...... Rest in Peace Louis....
