Condolence & Memory Journal

My heart aches for Anne, but Steve is at peace and his no longer does. Their life together was medically challenging at times, but joyful for the many great times they shared, especially the fun travel adventures. Steve was a good man and loving husband. I will miss my "air kisses" to my friend.

So blessed to have met our cousin, albeit so late in our lives. Can't have regrets for missed fun times together, for reasons beyond our control. Lots of time to visit in our next lives in eternity. Love ya, Cheryl Hallonquist, Janet Sellers, Rhonda Nolen

Always appreciated the few times Bette and I got to spend with Steve and Anne. He always had a way of making you feel good. We will miss him always. May God be with you Steve.

It's hard to write about my brother-in-law Steve and his passing. Steve was a terrific brother-in-law. He was always kind to Marie and me, always ready with a joke or a story, and truly always quick to share what he had. We fished together, I snagged his favorite lure on a dock, we ate beautiful barbecue he worked through the night to prepare, and he and Anne hosted many, many delightful weekends at the coast in Rockport. He would pilot his boat around the neighborhood with easy mastery and give us the scoop on all the famous neighbors. And of course to hear him tell it, he was also world class at repairing jet aircraft in 30-below weather. He was a great and generous soul, and I am glad to have known him, though not for nearly long enough. I will, everyone will, miss Steve greatly.
