My deepest condolences to all of the Garcia family. Although I knew my cousin Jorge for only for a short time I feel there was a connection because he knew my father, Rolando Pena, I will always remember Jorge. May God comfort his family during their time of need and may he Rest In Peace.

I knew Jorge from our grad school days at Stanford, and we remained good friends all these years. He was an inspiring teacher to all, talented in so many ways, and a kind and caring person. I will always miss him, his insightful sense of humor, and the great person he always was. May he rest in peace.
