Woody always made you feel when he greeted you that you were one person he was waiting to see. He and Netsie were always so gracious with their time and concern for others. My blessing to all of the family in the loss of one of the "great ones"

Woody & my late husband joined SFOA at same time. For the first year they were on the same officiating team and became good friends. The time we spent with Netsie & Woody was always fun & joyful. Woody was a fine man. Later on in time we enjoyed watching his sons play football at Churchill High school where Larry’s brother coached and his daughter Alice became friends with our daughter Betsey. My prayers and love to his family.

Woody always left you in a better place than you were before encountering him. I will miss him terribly, but his spirit will endure in the amazing family that survives him. I love you all.

Woody will be missed by everyone who was blessed to cross paths with him. I don't think he ever met a stranger and no matter what was going on in his world, he always shared a smile and a pleasant greeting. When I'd see Woody around St Marks he was usually had family nearby. He was a true family man and his family loved him. His family is as easy to love as he was. May he rest in peaceful joy at long last in the arms of Christ.
I regret that I won't make it to his final service.

Woody's legacy is the great family that he and Netsie raised. Woody always made you feel welcome and comfortable. I'll miss seeing him at 3 AM for the KOC BBQ. Will also miss being greeted as Easy Money! Let's shed a tear of joy that Woody was a part of our lives.

We will always treasure our memories of Woody - from his fried green potatoes, to the armadillo at a retreat mass to his welcoming, joking manner and presence at Mass - both with and later without precious Netsie. Our thoughts and prayers are forever with you.
