He was a Certified Public Accountant and taught at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and also where he received his Master's Degree from the School of Banking. In retirement he and his wife Marian have spent a beautiful life together living in a lake house at Lake Texoma, loving and spoiling children and grandchildren and traveling the world together with his wife and many dear friends. He filled his children with wisdom, jokes, and crazy magic tricks. Al was a wise man, Mensa smart, with a wicked sense of humor, he offered wise council and advice to so many. His most important piece of information to his children and grandchildren, 'pay attention', as his father had taught him. Al and Marian found their most important home of all at Legacy Bible Church in Denison TX and were baptized together on November 6, 2016. There he walked in faith hand in hand with his wife and so many loving brothers and sisters in Christ.

You were loved and admired by so many, we hand you over to our Lord with heavy hearts dear Altus.
