Obituary for Andrew E.W. Torrice

July 31, 1992 - June 10, 2017
Omaha, Nebraska | Age 24

Andrew E. M. Torrice, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 24 years. Andrew was born Friday, July 31, 1992 in Manassas, Virginia to Scott and Kristine Torrice.

Andrew grew up all over the country as his father was in the military for most of Andrew's younger years. After completing high school in Texas in 2011, he began working at different places and in 2012 he became a father to a beautiful little girl. At the time of her birth he and her birth mother felt they couldn't provide for her the way they felt she deserved to be, so they asked his parents to adopt her. They've been raising her since birth. She absolutely adored her "brother" and loved playing, FaceTimeing, dancing, and hanging out with him.

In 2015, his parents relocated to La Vista and he followed several months later. He wanted to get a new start. He found a job fairly quickly as an assistant manager of a Domino's Pizza. He was so happy and amazed that he was offered a management position. He felt like life was finally turning around for the good. He had a job, bought a used car, and started getting settled in his new happy life. After living with his parents for a while he moved out into an apartment that he shared with his brother. That's when he bought his first motorcycle. He named her Haley. He loved to just ride around taking in the beautiful area. A few months ago, he joined up with a group of riders with ROMR. He loved riding with them and talked about them all the time. They welcomed him with open arms and after meeting with them the other night we realized how much he meant to them, too. Andrew loved cruising on his motorcycle. He had just bought the motorcycle he was on a few weeks before. He had started vlogging his rides, just talking about random things like different things he wanted to change on his motorcycle, the beautiful weather, and showing everyone his rides with his fellow riders from ROMR in Omaha. He had a smile that was infectious. He always knew how to make you smile or laugh. He was kind of a goofball which was wonderful.

Andrew is survived by his parents; daughter, Abigail; sister Emily, (Steven) Shoe; brother, Alexzander; nieces, Makenna and Evelynne; nephews, Ryan and Ian; grandparents Dennis and Helen Bauer and Marilyn Torrice; and many extended family members and friends.
