Obituary for Brian Keith Seldon

November 29, 1976 - May 16, 2019
Castroville, Texas | Age 42

Loving husband, father, son and brother, Brian Keith Seldon, age 42, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

The book of life was opened for Brian Keith Seldon on November 29, 1976. He was born at BAMC on Ft. Sam Houston, Texas to Charles W. Seldon Sr. and Venus M. Greenfield. During his early childhood he grew up in Killeen, Texas. Brian and his family later moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1987. He was a student in the San Antonio School Independent District and graduated from the Northside Independent School District in 1994.

Brian was christened as an infant and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior at an early age. He was baptized when he committed his life to Jesus Christ under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Gary Patterson, Berean Baptist Fellowship Church, San Antonio, Texas.

Brian served in the United States Air Force from 1996 to 1998. During his tour of duty his son Xavier A. Seldon was born. After Brian's honorable discharge from the Air Force, he returned to San Antonio and married his love, his heartbeat, his wife Latisha Jackson in 1999. During their union Brian and Tisha expanded their family with the births of SeanPaul and Zoe Seldon. Brian and Tisha built a beautiful life together full of laughter, fun, family, memories, and celebrations.

Brian furthered his education and graduated in 2002 expanding his career in Information Technology. He worked the last nine years for Skanska USA Inc., in the last few years as a regional manager. He really enjoyed his job since he was a major electronics geek. And yes Brian always had the newest and best electronics and he was a true promoter for Apple products.

Brian had many passions, one of which wetted and satisfied the appetites of everyone that was blessed to partake and even those who were blessed just from the aroma of his grilling and barbecuing. As a child Brian started cooking which fueled his desire to give this type of love to people in his life. One of his other passions was Crowned Legacy. Brian loved working on his cars, customizing cars and entering in Car Shows with his team. Over the years the team held fundraisers for Wounded Warriors and Fisher's House supporting the Nations Heroes. Brian also liked fishing. Brian, Tisha, and the kids would frequently go fishing and building more memories of love and family.

Over the years, Brian had a full life and touched many lives. Everyone that met him could tell you a story, from school friends, co-workers, family, neighbors, and more. People enjoyed his laugh, sense of humor, and his passions. Brian believed in family and loved being a husband and father.
