Obituary

Burnell "Buzz" Osborne Tracy, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from heart disease in San Antonio,
Texas. Buzz was born in Denver, Colorado on Monday, March 20, 1939. He was raised in Denver and
attended South High School. After high school he joined the Army and served in the 101st Airborne. Burnell
always had a sense of adventure. He went from leather wearing and motorcycle riding to helmet wearing
parachute jumping in the service. All of his children share the love of motorcycles to this day. When returning
home from the service he started working with Western Electric as a main office installer and retired after 40
years. He worked hard to support his family and taught his children a strong work ethic.

Burnell was a big man that could be intimidating, but he always had a serving heart. After marrying the love of
his life, Elaine, they joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In the 50 years of being a member
he had so many opportunities to serve others. From using his truck and sons to help move someone, to visiting
the sick or teaching the youth, mowing someone's lawn, or giving extra tithe to make sure a family in need was
taken care of. One of his favorite services was dressing as a clown visiting sick children at hospitals. He loved
children and seeing their joy. He had a broad smile, a huge laugh and he never met a stranger.

Burnell is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty Elaine Tracy; his children whom were his pride and
joy; son, John Paul Tracy; son, James Alan Tracy (Dana); daughter, Debra Kay Cluckey (Christopher); son, Scott Andrew Tracy (Patricia); daughter, Donna Marie Friis; his beloved grandchildren, Dustin, Ryker, Madison, Regan, Mackenzie, Hayden, Jonah, Natalie, Sophia, and Caitlin; along with his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Rodney Roberts; mother-in-law, Rita Turner; brother-in-law, Ronald Turner; sister-in-law, Deanna Tracy; and numerous nieces and nephews that all have fond memories of their Uncle Buzz.

We rejoice in the reunion he has had with his mother, Elsie Leticia Robinson;his father, James Orville Tracy; his brother, James Orville Tracy;
his sister and brother-in law, Jacqueline and Richard Travis.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
