Cue Roberts at the age of 89 passed from this life on September 9, 2017.

Cue was born to Tom and Francis Roberts of Jonesboro Arkansas on May 7, 1928.

In 1946, Cue joined the Army Air Corp at the age of 17 and retired as a Chief Master Sargent from the United States Air Force on October 31, 1966. After retiring from the service, Cue worked at Kelly Field as a lab technician. In 1971, he started working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an air traffic controller. In 1973, he crossed trained into programming and became a systems analyst retiring in 1983. He continued working for FAA as a consultant until 1987.

Cue's family will always be grateful for his service to his country and his devotion to his family.
Cue is survived by his sons Thomas Roberts and daughter-in-law Dianne of Hughesville MD and Cue Roberts Jr and daughter-in-law Angela Roberts of San Angelo TX; grandchildren Justin Roberts and his wife Roxsann of San Angelo TX, Erica Yearout and her husband Devon of Sonora TX, Katie Lanham and her husband Nick of California MD, and Sarah Soileau and her husband Corey of Washington DC; and great grandchildren Dylan and D'Artagnan DeLaRosa, Brianna and Logan Roberts of San Angelo TX and Addyson Roberts of Tucson AZ; and Cue's sister Virginia Miller and her husband Chuck, and brother Lee and his wife Faye. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones across the country.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lou (Miller) Roberts; parents Tom and Francis; siblings Buddy, Lonie, Pete and Sonny; and grandson Cue (Trip) Roberts III.

The viewing will be held on September 20, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Porter Loring Mortuary, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. The funeral service will be held on September 21, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Porter Loring Mortuary, to be followed by a full military honors burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
