Obituary

David Wayne George, the love of our lives left on March 13, 2019 - he didn't necessarily want to go, but the marvels of modern medicine could no longer save him. We were together 23 years. In that 23 years we were blessed with a daughter, Madelyn LaNell George, 4 dogs, 2 cats and some smaller creatures that David would never touch. We also had countless friends and had the most eclectic and beautiful family. Despite David's quiet nature, his heart was enormous, humble and world class. There will not be a day in the little universe of his family and friends that he will not be missed or thought of - his lessons were from the heart and will always be a part of his living legacy.

In memory and honor of David, tell people you love them everyday (he did). Be kind to those who are hardest to be kind to. The benefit of the doubt should always be given. Never go to sleep angry (most difficult request but he never did). Work hard - every single day (actions speak louder than words). Search for solutions - because there is always one.

Here are those that loved him so: Anne Gibson George (wife), Madelyn LaNell George (daughter), Artensie George (mother), Terry George Brown (sister & best friend) & Archie Brown , LaDonna George Colquitt (sister) & Timothy Colquitt, Tucker and Dorothy Gibson (in laws), and nieces and nephews Chad, Candace, Symone, Jared, Emma, Victoria & Grace - and so many more spouses and extended family and friends that hold dear places in our lives.

In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to your favorite charity or for Kidney Disease Research. As a man who did not value things, but valued people and experience, helping others would mean the most.

Until we meet again, I love you MeMe. Madelyn loves you. - MAD forever.
