Obituary

Donald K. Klemcke, age 76, passed away on February 7, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. Born on July 4, 1943 to Jim Ella and George Klemcke in Laredo, TX. He graduated from Bladensburg High School in Hyattsville, Maryland and later attended the University of Maryland for 2 years.

In 1967 he started to work for Monroe Systems for Business as a sales representative and worked his way up to the District Manager. This job took him to Williamsport, PA, Orange, NJ, Bryan/College Station, TX, Midland, TX and then to Austin, TX over the span of 29 years. In 1996 he started a new job with Mark of Distinction and was in charge of Austin and the surrounding areas. He continued to work for them until he retired.

Don was a stranger to no one and enjoyed meeting new people. He loved sports, especially the San Antonio Missions Baseball Team. As a season ticket holder, he would make lots of noise and yell at the umpires. He adored spending time with his family and friends. He liked to travel to different places and see everything he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, P'triss Arizola. Donald is survived by his wife, Deborah Klemcke; daughter, Kristin Richer (Kevin); granddaughter, Victoria; brother, Harold Klemcke (Teresa); sister, Renell Oxford and sister, Wanda Arizola (Peter); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, February 17, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Honey Creek.
