Obituary for Eduardo S. Sanchez

Eduardo S. Sanchez, age 72, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 7, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas. Eduardo will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous man who served his country as an Air Force Veteran, as well as his community as a San Antonio Police Officer, San Antonio Fire Fighter and Arson Investigator.

His presence and smile will be missed by everyone he encountered.

Eduardo is preceded in death by his parents, Feliciano and Maria (Sandoval) Sanchez. He is survived by his daughters, Lori Morales (Javier), Katherine Biela, and Monica Davis (Kelley); sisters, Yolanda Bowen (Hubert), Theresa Sanchez, Marie Del Rosario-Martinez, Sister Carmen Sanchez, MCDP, Dolores Pacheco, Hortencia Hahn (Kurt), and Inez Perez (Andy); brother, Felix Sanchez (Barbara); and his nine grandchildren, Felicia, Morgan, Reese, Kelley, Jarrett, Elijah, Gabrielle, Isella and Liliana.

The family will receive friends for the Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Porter Loring Mortuary at 1101 McCullough Avenue, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Mass will begin at 10 A.M. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on 1602 Thousand Oaks.

Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
