Obituary

Frances May Stutz Hall, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Austin, Texas. Frances was born on September 27, 1925 in Richmond, Virginia to parents Lewis and Alice Stutz.

Frances graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia and Richmond Professional Institute. After school she worked for the Internal Revenue Service for two years. While Frances was in high school she met Blaine, the love of her life, and they married March 23, 1946. They had one child, Randy, who was delivered by the same doctor as Frances. From 1969 to 1990 Frances worked in the Accounting Department for Aetna Life and Casualty in San Antonio.

Frances and Blaine were longtime members of Trinity Baptist Church, San Antonio. Frances taught Sunday School, was a member of the choir and the Sonshine Singers. Her love for tap dancing started when she was young and took lessons at Miss Harper's School of Dance in Richmond, Virginia. Whenever there was a program at church which involved dancing, Frances was always there to lead and participate.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Ellwood Stutz, her mother, Alice May Reynolds Stutz, her husband, Blaine Wheeler Hall, and her son, Blaine Randolph Wheeler Hall, Jr.

She is survived by daughter-in-law, Tracey Hall Hime and her husband David of Austin, Texas, three granddaughters, Courtney Tichenor Hall and her fiancée Brian Ferguson of Austin, Texas, Ainsley Reynolds Hall Curry and her husband, Dustin Curry of Cypress, Texas, Whitney Quest Hall Wehmeyer and her husband Sam Wehmeyer of Kansas City, Missouri; cousins, James Reynolds Kinzey of Richmond, Virginia, John Sargent Kinzey of Silver Spring, Maryland, Clemens (Ted) Ewalt Boelt of Townsend, Virginia and Diana Boelt Challis of Richmond, Virginia and other relatives in Virginia.
