Frances Trodlier Sherman, age 84, of San Antonio passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. She was born on August 7, 1932 in Tyler, Texas to Herman and Freeda Levy. Frances was raised in Tyler, Texas and graduated from John Tyler High School in 1949, shortly thereafter she moved to San Antonio.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Sherman and son, Joseph Trodlier. Frances lived life to the fullest, never letting things get in the way of her high Spirits. She loved being surrounded by her family, especially spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughters, Jonell Trodlier, Helen Trodlier (Debbie Martinez), Dina Petrutsas (Frank) and Heidi Heridia (Michael); step-daughter, Susan Farr (Bryan); grandchildren, Justin, Kaitlin and Lauren Petrutsas, Sara and Noah Heridia and Marcia Farr. The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Cohen for his extraordinary care since 1977, Heritage Creek Assisted Living for loving her like family and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring North.
A Private Graveside Service will be held for family. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Jimmy, Frank, Justin and Jonathan Petrutsas; Nathan Klaymeier and Bryan Farr.
