Mike Rigotti passed away peacefully Friday, February 15, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 33 years to Mary Ann Rigotti (nee Miriani), beloved son of the late George & (nee Pipes) Bette Rigotti; dearest son-in-law to the late John & Theresa (nee Zinselmeier) Miriani. Survived by his dear sister Cheryl Rigotti & precious niece Kelly Rigotti; dearest brother-in-law to Robert (Kris) Miriani, John Miriani, Patricia (Lou) Nieman; dear uncle to Jennifer (Huck) Boozer, John Nieman and Jason (Kara) Miriani; cherished great uncle of Everett & Bernadette Boozer; cousin & friend to many.

Mike graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA on August 27, 1968. Several years later he started work at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where he remained until his retirement in 1993. Mike was the youngest District Manager that Southwestern Bell named while he was stationed in Jonesborough, Arkansas. During his career he lived in multiple SWB (AT&T) locations such as Dallas, Austin, and St. Louis where he met & married his best friend and love of his life Mary Ann before settling back in his home state of Texas.

Those who knew & loved Mike will always remember his love for red wine, his passion for reading, his desire to continue to learn and his insatiable willingness to learn how things worked. He played high school football (#36) & was an avid UT Longhorn football fan. He had a great sense of humor, warm wonderful smile & a love for the outdoors. He was always willing to help others whenever someone needed something. He also had the incredible ability to look at a piece of wood or metal, and transform the wood into a beautiful object to treasure or take a piece of metal & create a tool that got the job done.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
