... taught her children "success through hard work" principles ...

Our mother, sister and grandmother, Gloria Robles Cook, went to be with the Lord at the age 80. She was born in San Antonio, TX to parents: Milton and Anita Robles during the generation of the Great Depression. The tough times during this era gave Gloria the persistence to withstand any hardship that developed throughout her life. She matured into a strong-willed woman with a "can do" spirit.

A young entrepreneur, she opened her first business in Domestic Services in 1974. Her journey in working in various business segments, allowed her to acquire the skills to develop many other successful businesses in Marketing and Advertising in which she earned the Hispanic Woman Business Award. Gloria exhibited a persistence to excel in business and taught her children "success through hard work" principles.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Norma Ornelas. She is survived by her children: Chip Alsobrook (Dallas, TX); Cary Alsobrook Jr. and wife, Metta (Chesapeake, VA); Mary Lynn Alsobrook (Houston, TX); and Harold R.
