Mrs. Heidelore T. Davidson was born Heidelore T. Streich on December 13, 1941 in Stets, Poland. During the early start of WWII; she, her brother, and her mother escaped across the border into Germany from the invading Nazis who killed her birth Father. In the suburb city of Hoechst, she was raised through adulthood.

Mom and Dad met in Frankfurt, Germany at a local city swimming pool and married at the young ages of 23 and 21 years old. They were married for over 57 years and were actually married before interracial marriage was legal in many States in the US. Mom was dad's partner for over 30 years of his Army service. She saw dad go to war on three separate occasions and managed the house while he was deployed for those and many other missions. Together the family moved from Army base to Army base over 15 times.

Mom was a survivor and very strong minded. She survived WWII and being trapped in a bombed out building for 3 days. She beat Cancer in 1980 having to stay in the hospital following surgery and chemotherapy for 3 months. In 2006 she survived a triple bypass heart attack. Mom's Hobbies included: Poetry, Puzzles, Charity, Writing, Music, and Knitting. Her Character was straight forward. She was Strong, Honest, Fair, Giving, and Private.

Mom was the last member of her immediate family, having outlived her stepfather Wilhelm Klage, her mother Gertrud Klage, and her brother Reinhard Streich. Mom is survived by her husband, Robert B. Davidson; the family of her eldest son Robert B. Davidson Jr. (Bobby), daughter in law Andrea Davidson (Andi), their children Hanna Davidson, Maria Davidson (Mary), Antonio Davidson (Tony), and Robert B. Davidson III (Trey); and the family for her second son, James W. Davidson, his wife Hyun-Kyung Davidson (Katie), and their only son James W. Davidson II (Kaja).

Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
