Ima Mae Hafernik, 83, of San Antonio, passed away at home in the presence of family on October 23, 2018 due to complications related to cancer.

She was born on September 5, 1935, to Claude Burian and Cora Belle Alexander at their home near Jacob's Well outside Wimberley, Texas.

She was also an avid birder, square dancer and hostess. She was very active in her Ministry "Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion" at Blessed Sacrament Catholic church. She and her husband Bob were coordinators of this Ministry for over twenty years.
