Obituary

JANET M. MEJIA

Janet "Kitty" M. Mejia was born on April 3, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Jose Abel Marmolejo and Aurora De Leon. At the time of her passing at the age of 71, Janet was surrounded with much love by her family and closest friends on November 2, 2019.
During her youth Janet was part of the Thalia Social Club, she spent 10 years as a hairdresser and continued on as an accountant for the next 25 years. Her favorite past time was bowling and reminiscing about how much fun she had in her 66' Yellow Mustang. Janet's current hobbies included cooking, arts and crafts, relaxing with her two favorite cats, Jasmine and Victoria and of course, a whole lot of gambling that also involved Bingo alongside her favorite friends and family.

Her greatest joy of all was spending time next to her grand and great grandchildren. Janet is and will always be remembered for her unconditional love towards everyone, sassy attitude, and most of all her very opinionated sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurora and Jose, her sister; Lupita, and brother Jesse.

Janet is survived by her daughter Veronica Merie Duron, son in-law, Roland Duron Sr and her son Johnny Mejia. Brothers, Jaime Marmolejo and Joe Marmolejo. 9 grandchildren; Roland Jr, Diana, Randy, Jenevieve, Rene, Julie, Jacqueline, Robert, and Angel and 8 great grandchildren; Alesandra, John Anthony, Roland III, Matthew, Daphne, Johnathan, Erin, and Zacharias. Including several nieces and nephews.

Janet's wishes will be honored as she requested to be cremated.
