Obituary

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to his parents, Desi and Kathy on June 20,1984. From a young age, Justin has always been on the move and never wanting to miss an adventure, planned or otherwise. Sports have always been a big part of his life, from playing baseball and football to golf and softball, playing the occasional round or game with his dad. He always loved his Yankees and Rams. He wasn't just a pretty face and a great athlete, while playing football at Adam State University in Colorado he earned his Undergraduate and Graduate degrees. He was so smart that he "got the grades" that he needed, not what he could have earned.

Justin was encouraged by a friend to move to San Antonio for a fresh start...little did he know this was going to be his grandest adventure. He started a career at USAA, quickly moving to his current role as Digital Program Manager. There wasn't a day that went by that involved or at least talk of nerf wars or dance offs. He was quick to pick up the tasks at hand and finish with time to spare. During this down time, he would talk to his co-workers about his love, his wife. He met his wife Carolyn at a mutual friends' barbeque, totally smitten from day one. Their love was apparent and contagious to everyone around them. They had their fairy tale wedding last November, surrounded by family and friends.

Justin loved life. No one was every too good or too bad for him to talk to or extend a helping hand. He had giant heart and was loved by everyone he met. He will always be remembered with Jack-n-coke in one hand, a cigar in the other and an infectious smile on his face!

Justin is survived by his wife Carolyn Paiz, Father Desi Paiz, Mother Kathy Lowery (Chris), Mother and Father-in-law Linda and Chuck Witkowski, Sister Desirae Keenam (David), Step Brother Corey Lowery (Samantha), Step Sister Corea Talley (Ethan), Step Brother Christian Lowery, Brother-in-Law Adam Witkowski, Brother-in-Law Peter Witkowski, Brother-in-Law Kevin Witkowski, Grandfather Sam Short, Grandmother Elma Paiz, Nephews Miles Adame and Emmett Talley, Nieces Tori Adame, EJ Talley, Lily Keenam, Multiple Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and Friends
