Kenneth H. Landry, 80, of Boerne, TX and formerly of Woburn, MA passed away unexpectedly on December 10 in San Antonio, TX. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Haverty) Landry for 54 years. He is lovingly survived by his children Kenneth W. Landry and his wife Kimberly of Norton, MA, Bob Landry and his wife Kristen of San Antonio, and Nancy Scalesse and her husband Richard of Woburn. Dear brother of James Landry of Chelsea, MA. Cherished "Papa" of Kaitlyn O'Rourke, Ryan and Brandon Landry, Madelyn and Evan Landry, and Meghan, Cameron, and Anna Scalesse. Also survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Landry of Bridgewater, MA and Madeline Landry of Sandown, NH as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by siblings John, Mary, Margaret, Charles, Leo, Reis and Richard.

Born in Chelsea, Ken was the youngest of nine children of the late John and Annie (Vincent) Landry. Raised and educated in Chelsea, Ken graduated from Chelsea High School in 1957. He then enlisted and served honorably with the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years. Following military service, Ken went to work for food distributor Webster Thomas Company for several years before spending the rest of his career working for the U.S. Postal Service; he retired in 1998 after 35 years of service.

In 1964, Ken met Mary Haverty and the two were married in 1965 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Woburn. After a brief period in Chelsea, they moved to Woburn to raise their family. The couple lived in Woburn until 2014 before moving to Texas. Ken loved family time above all else, taking special interest in his grandchildren and their activities. He also enjoyed frequent travel and took delight in several cruises in recent years. He was an avid Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed the success of the major professional sports teams over the past two decades. For many years, Ken was an active member of the Woburn Towanda Club.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8500 Cross Mountain Trail, San Antonio, TX.
