Obituary

Louise Harris Clark was born on June 14, 1926 in Greenville, SC to Charles C. and Carrie Elrod Harris. She grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Girls' High School. She then attended college and worked at Southern Bell.

After meeting and marrying Rayford William (Bill) Clark in Atlanta in 1961, the couple settled in San Antonio and became active members of Trinity Baptist Church. Louise was a member of the Trinity Women's Association and the PEO Sisterhood. Louise supported Bill's career as a pharmacist by helping run his stores and serving as an officer in several women's auxiliary organizations. She and Bill also enjoyed membership in The San Antonio Power Squadron and Oak Hills Country Club.

Louise and Bill moved to Houston in 2001 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. In recent years, Louise was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed many friendships and activities at The Buckingham Retirement Community.

Louise was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Bill. She is survived by her daughters: Karen Clark Tinsley and husband Brian; Deborah Clark Perrin and husband Patrick; grandchildren: Patricia Louise Perrin, Andrew Clark Tinsley, Allison Claire Tinsley, and Mark William Perrin; and dear friend Tom Baker. Louise was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be greatly missed.
