... lived bravely to serve and protect ...

On Friday, June 15, 2018, our beloved Officer Norberto N. Ramon was honorably relieved of his post on Earth. Officer Ramon lived bravely to serve and protect up to the last two weeks of his life. He did not let cancer limit his life but showed cancer patients how to live their lives. Officer Ramon never wavered and fought a courageous battle with cancer to the very end. He lived and enjoyed a lifetime in the short period of time the Lord granted him.

Officer Ramon is a proud San Antonio native. A graduate of Kennedy High School and UTSA San Antonio. Norbert earned his Bachelor degree in Computer Science. He was working on his 25th year with the Houston Police Department as a Traffic Enforcement Officer.

Norbert Ramon was an avid fisherman, loving husband, brother and father. Adored and loved by everyone. Officer Ramon will be missed but his spirit and love will live on.

Norbert Ramon is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Guadalupe Ramon and sister, Diana Ramon and is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ramon and combined family of three sons: Greg Medina, Dustin Medina and Joshua Ramon; three grandchildren, Madison, Carter, and Reed; his father Alex A. Ramon Sr. and brother, Alex A. Ramon Jr. and wife, Drucilla. Norbert also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, friends and "Brothers in Blue" ~ May you Rest in Peace – We Love You!
