Obituary for Patricia Ann Rooney Warren

Patricia Rooney Warren, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. She was born November 26, 1931 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Francis B. and Nancy (Ramek) Rooney and was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert E. Warren. She graduated from Central High School and the Booth & Bayliss School in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, Connecticut and Warnaco in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is survived by her children, Robert C. Warren, M.D., his wife Therese of Avon, Ohio; daughter, Sheila A. Kobilsek and husband Michael of Helotes, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel Warren, Joseph Warren, Catherine Warren, Andrew Kobilsek and Kaitlin Kobilsek. Other survivors include her sister, Dr. Joan Riccitelli of Orange Connecticut and brother, Francis Rooney of Satellite Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Rooney.
She was active in Trumbull, Connecticut Little League, Pop Warner Football and YMCA Girls Basketball. Also, she was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Manor for the Aged and Infirm for over 25 years. She resided at Independence Hill in San Antonio, Texas for the past 3 years.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
