Paul J. Walton, 93, passed away February 17, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Paul was born June 29, 1925 in Sycamore, Ohio to Paul R. Walton and Mary (Brown) Walton. He entered the US Navy during WWII and served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hornet in the Pacific Theatre being discharged after WWII. He married Annabelle Mills on February 14, 1947 and were married for 71 years. During his life he was affiliated with United Methodist Church in Shelby and Willard.

Paul was employed as a line supervisor for the Ohio Power Company -AEP- in Bucyrus, Shelby, and Willard, Ohio. He retired after 42 years in 1988 and traveled with his wife in an RV across the United States until they settled in Harlingen, Texas. During his retirement, he was an avid golfer and worked as a volunteer with the Food Bank through his church in Harlingen.

Paul is survived by his two children, Fred (Dorothy) Walton of Willard, Ohio and Pamela Walton of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughters, Stephanie Eitle and Kristen (Steve) Byrne; great-grandsons, David Eitle and Kaleb Walton; sister, Margaret Hanover of St. Mary's, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle; his parents; and siblings, Francis Shaffer, Wayne Walton, Dorothy Courtad, Stanley Walton, Betty Stanley, and twin sister Pauline Powell.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio, Texas. Graveside Service with military honors will be Monday, March 4, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
