Obituary

Robbie Tharp, 50, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in San Antonio at 11:30pm. He was born in Livingston, TX on June 14, 1968. Robbie built his family's world with his two bare hands. He built the furniture to our first home. He built our livelihood by building for others. He built a softball field for his daughter and her team. He built a motor cross track for the entire family, and anyone else who was willing to drive out to the boonies. He built our family home in Spring Branch. He built a treehouse for his sons Kyle and Cole to grow up in. He would spend any spare moment he had teaching his boys the skills they needed to know in order to build their own lives; and be able to support their families the way he supported us and our community. Robbie, in his last weeks, began building a new company for his two boys to take over in time, so they too could build a life for their family. Robbie Tharp was the most caring and level-headed human being you could ever meet (and his dry sense of humor could split anyone's sides). Robbie loved his wife Brayne with all of his heart. From the day they started dating in high school he did whatever he could possibly do to make Brayne and her mother Bo's life more comfortable. He continued this with his children, grandchild and Regulator Family always ensuring we had everything we needed and more. Robbie is the truest example and definition of what it means to be a Husband, Father, PopBo and a wonderful human being. Words cannot express how much Robbie has done for not just for his family, but our community as a whole. Robbie has had such an impact on our world. We are not sure he realized how many people he touched on a deep personal level by just being the kind natured person he was. We love you so much Robbie. We can only hope to pass on these lessons you have taught your children to others. We love you Robbie.

Robbie is survived by his wife, Brayne Tharp; 3 children, Candice Tharp, Kyle Tharp, and Cole Tharp; a grandson, Eli; his parents, Bobby and Delaney Tharp; a sister, Tess Sosa and her husband, Albert; 2 nieces, Alex and Stefani Sosa; 2 great-nephews, Mason and Sammy; his Aunt Judy, Uncle Steve and their family; Aunt Lu and her sons; as well as Cody and Jennifer Rabenaldt and the County Line Regulator family.
