Obituary

Stephen George Kleiser, aged 62, passed away in San Antonio, TX on December 21, 2017 and made his final journey to heaven. Steve was born in San Francisco, CA on June 21, 1955 to George and Dee Evans Kleiser. He graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA and went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Chico State University. For the rest of his life Steve had a natural affinity and passion for the tech industry and all things computer, working for many years with Cisco Systems.

In 1997 Steve willingly became a transplanted Texan after being introduced to Pam Pool through a mutual friend. Their relationship began as a long distance one through emails and nightly talks on the phone. After only two months Pam invited Steve to come visit her in Texas and there was no turning back. A mere month and a half later they were married, and celebrated their 20th anniversary only two days before Steve's death. When Pam told Steve "Forever is as far as I go," she meant it.

In Texas, Steve quickly became a LOYAL Spurs fan. After adopting at birth their son Joshua, Steve became a stay at home Dad while doing consulting work and teaching classes on networking. The addition of a beautiful daughter Katie Beth completed the family. Steve loved his wife, son and his daughter with all of his heart and was a good provider for them.

Steve loved to wear witty t-shirts, especially at Christmas time. He was known as the neighborhood computer expert and was called upon often. He spent his last three years doing his "fun job" working for the Marriott Global Reservation Center. Steve was passionate about his relationship with Jesus, and was a member of the Community Bible Church in San Antonio. He was a very generous person, sometimes to a fault. He was willing to help others and went about it in a quiet way.

Steve was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother Martin, as well as his mother-n-law Kathryn Pool. He is survived by his wife Pam; son Joshua; daughter Katie Beth; father-n-law Charles Pool; brother-n-law, Michael Pool (Michelle); nephews Hunter Pool and Jesse Pool(Celeste) and great niece Zoey Pool.

The family would like to thank you for the outpouring of prayers, love and support during Steve's illness and sudden passing. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 27 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio.
