Obituary

Terrence Lee Mish went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2017, at the age of 84. He was born on June 20, 1933, in Chambersburg, PA to parents, Henry John and Elizabeth Mish. Terrence attended Penn State University, where he was a member of the Zeta Zeta and the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternities. Later, he joined the United States Air Force and climbed through the ranks as an Officer, Captain, and finally Major. Terrence was in the 14th Tactical Squadron. As an Officer, he completed his combat in Southeast Asia and was recommended for his Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with nine oak leaf clusters. He flew 100 Combat "Counter" Missions in the RF-4C Phantom over North Vietnam and Cambodia from 1967 to 1973. Terrence married Ida L. Galan in 1999. He is a member of the Penn State Alumni Association, Lambda Chi Alpha, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Officers Association Wars, and the Red River Valley Fighter "Rats".

The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018, with an Evening Service to start at 7 p.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary.
