Walter "Schot" Buzzini peacefully entered the nearer presence of our Lord on July 12.

He was born on October 20, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to Walter J. Buzzini, Jr. and Rachel Marsden Buzzini. Schot attended San Antonio Academy and was a graduate of Peacock Military Academy. He graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Home Building Construction and as a Distinguished Military Student in the Schools ROTC program. He served a stint in the Army as a mechanized artillery officer and remained as a reservist for many years thereafter. In 1960, he married his one true love Billye Minnette London and remained her devoted husband for fifty-seven years. He spent his entire professional life in the same oil production business which was started by his father. Throughout much of his life he was an avid sailor, hunter, and fly fisherman passing on his knowledge and love of these things to his to two sons. In his later years, he and Minnette enjoyed traveling around the globe, often with close friends. They especially enjoyed hosting friends in New Mexico, Port Aransas and at the family ranch near Bandera. He was a member of the Conopus Club, the San Antonio Country Club, The Argyle and The San Antonio Petroleum Club, where he served many years on its board of directors and as president. More than anything else, he adored his family and was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones.

Schot was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rae Buzzini; and his sister, Barbara Jean Buzzini. His is survived by his wife, Minnette; sons, Walter J. Buzzini IV and his wife, Katherine, and Byron London Buzzini. Also, his grandchildren, Walter J. Buzzini V, Robert Courtlandt Buzzini and William London Buzzini. The family wishes to thank Vivian, Bertha, Brenda and Vangie for their devoted help and care and especially to Paul Smith for his compassionate professional care and concern.
