Obituary

Dr. Warren M. Parker, Jr. went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. Warren was born on September 27, 1933 in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas, to parents Warren Maxwell Parker, Sr. and Lorene Schratz Parker. Upon Graduation from High School he enlisted in the USAF and served as a jet engine mechanic in Japan, was discharged and then used his GI Bill to study medicine at the University of Arkansas. Upon graduation from Med School (as the fourth generation Parker M.D.) he re-entered the Air Force and eventually went on to become a Flight Surgeon.

At the age of 33 he convinced the Air Force he would make a better Flight Surgeon if they would send him to Pilot Training. Graduating near the top of his class he chose to fly F-4 Fighters. During his many years of service and endless schooling, he and wife June Eleanor Harris Parker had five children, and moved all over the U.S and the Far East all the while teaching them to snow ski, water ski, skin dive, refurbish and race old English sports cars.

After retirement from military life he operated his own private medical practice in Fort Worth for many years then moved to San Antonio where he lived out his last years with his loving and caring wife Julieta. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, his wife, Julieta, and two youngest children Ward Maxwell and Rebecca Anne Parker. "Doc" as all his friends called him is survived by his only sister Olli John Ann Parker Adrion, and three oldest sons Pat Parker, James William Parker and Harold Joe Parker.
