Obituary

William Charles Hill (Bill) born in Trenton New Jersey on March 6, 1932, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 9, 2020.

Bill was a man of God all his life. He strove to become a pastor but did not do so well at Bob Jones University and, after dropping out, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Bill excelled in communications and through out his 27-career, rose to the rank of Major before retiring in 1977. He enjoyed traveling to different places around the world even after retiring from the Air Force. Bill and Jean started a satellite Baptist Church in their living room in the late 70's in Mary land where he would deliver the sermon and she would play the organ and lead the small congregation in hymns. Both were always active in their Church, teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir; Bill was a great tenor. Bill was an avid reader, enjoyed science fiction, history books, and of course, the Bible. Bill loved Jean, he devoted his life to her the best in life, especially after she had a stroke on 2005. Although Jean was wheelchair bound after the stroke, Bill always took her every Friday to get her hair done and took her out to eat on nearly a daily basis. Bill LOVED Jean and, through the grace of God, they are united again, which turned out to be a lovely Mother's Day gift for her.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Jean, daughter Ruth Ann, son Bob, his father Bud, his mother, Marcella, and sister Lois. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Lambert, son Bill, and sister-in-law, Ruth Frederick.
