Obituary

Wyatt Houston Oliver, 17 Months, passed away on Monday March, 26th in Houston, Texas. Wyatt was 9th generation Texan and had the fight and strength that went with being a true Texan. With every breath of his very short life he inspired and brought joy to everyone he met. They nicknamed him "Lil Chief" because from the moment he came into the world he took the lead and set the tone. With his infectious smile and playful banter; he brightened the lives of so many. He was never able to speak a word but with every emotion and gesture he let you know how much he loved you. His fight and strength through his numerous surgeries, medical hardships, and multiple stays in the hospital inspired people all over the world. He loved bath time, watching Texas A&M football with Pops, watching Little Baby Bum, Trolls and Boss Baby on his iPad, spending time with his cousin Ellie, playing with his toys, clapping and bouncing along to music, and being with the ones he loved. He truly was happy all the time and the best child any parent could ever hope for or want. Wyatt Houston is survived by his Mother – Lauren Oliver and Father – Bruce Scott Oliver Jr. Grandparents – Joel Youngblood (Pops), Karen Youngblood (KK), Bruce Oliver Sr. (Grandad) and Connie Oliver (Grandmama). Great-grandparents – Eddie and Eadie Youngblood, Frank Chatham. Aunts and Uncles – Brent and Amy Youngblood, Matt and Courtney Barber, Frank and Melanie Oliver along with many loved family members.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1 P.M. at Coker United Methodist Church 231 E. North Loop Road, San Antonio, TX 78216. Rev. David McNitzky officiating. The family has asked that you accessorize in the color red to honor Wyatt.
